I've got a Sig 1911-22. It's a good 22, but mine is pretty damn finicky.

My favorite thing about the full size 1911-22s is you can customize them, to an extent, with regular 1911 parts. The same cannot be said for the 3/4-size Browning.

My least favorite thing about the Sig/GSG is the cheap plastic sights and the ridiculously over-curved beaver tail. Easily fixed, but annoying just the same.

I looked at most models before purchasing the GSG. The same company that makes the GSG makes the Sig but they use a different finish. I liked the Sig finish over the slightly more glossy GSG but the price compensated the preference. I found a used GSG with the fake suppressor and bolt-on rail. It is a really nice shooting .22.

I picked up a threaded extension and a few 15 round mag conversion kits. This place is an excellent source for improvement parts. http://www.cwaccessories.com/
