So last weekend I made my first shooting video to put on youtube and today I made another one. I have just been using windows movie maker for the editing, but I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with any other free video editing software that I can try out? Ive done a few searches and seen a few that are recommended on some "top 10 lists" or w/e, but Id rather get someones opinion on here of what you may have experience with and preferred? Here are the videos I made. The first one is the one I made today, the other one I did last weekend. :50cal:

What format are you recording in? I use a gopro hd exclusively and WMM to edit. Since I record in mp4 I have to be able edit with the correct software. I can convert the mp4 to something else but then I lose the HD quality of the video. This video was converted to wmv but recorded in mp4 using avi'sforu to convert. I am not sure how to embed on this site. http://youtu.be/ZxndOs2Bh5E

This was the first one I did, http://vimeo.com/12351394

Cool deal. Then you dont need to convert anything. I like WMM to editing content. The newest version on windows 7 is not as user friendly as it was with my XP machine. Once you figure out all the bells and whistles you can really have fun with music and affects.
