Olyeller can get it Ion Bond coated too. It will cost more but it's supposed to be awesome in the wear department.

ETA: It would be a great option on that Series 70 too. :D

Ion Bond is top tier. Great lubricity and a tough black finish. My second choice would probably be Cerakote. For night sights, I'd invest in a set of Novaks with Trijicon inserts. Great look and an awesome set of sights.

I have Novak night sights on a number of my 1911s but I prefer a 10-8 U notch rear and a Trijicon front. It's very fast and accurate for me.

Keep in mind that Ionbond is porous if you do get it done.
