Where to Carry?

O.K. It's been 2 years or about since I posted but here we go. I'm in a wheelchair and would like to carry. Besides a bellybaag whre else would be a good place to carry?

Assuming you have full mobility "up top" how about a shoulder rig?
My buddy in a chair always has his wallet on his lap so that could be a possibility too...something to incorporate that. His is attached to his lap belt so it cant slide off. You may also be able to utilize the chair for mounts depending on if you have side bolsters or just a metal frame....depends on the type of chair.

I'd look into a shoulder rig of sorts or a pancake holster that you could put between your thigh and side bolster on your seat (assuming chair is similar style to my buddies). It would be plenty hidden and easily accessible.

Belly band "type" that you could wear around your upper thigh?

You may want to try a holster shirt. I really like the ease of access and ability for right or left handed pistol placement.

All good suggestions; also, what type of firearm will you be carrying? That can make a big difference in how you carry for sure. A Gov't Size 1911, a compact semi-auto, a J-Frame revolver, or something smaller like a Ruger LCP?

Get an ankle holster. I can reach mine sitting down, plus it's not like it would be in the way of anything unlike other kinds would.

How about a Galco SOB holster at about the 5 o'clock position?

But like druryj said - a lot depends on what type of weapon you are using.
