I have heard from a couple of different medical personnel that yogurts with active cultures are good for healing sores in your mouth. And apparently some yogurts are so sterilized that there is very little active cultures in them. Can anyone tell me which types of yogurt have the most active cultures in them?
All I know is that greek stuff tastes nasty.
I eat Greek yogurt every morning as part of my diet plan...
Plain Greek isn't so good, it's like eating spoon culls of dry sour cream.
But the Chobani fruit in the bottom is good stuff. I add a cup of plain dry oatmeal to it and mix it all up.

I eat choboni with fruit in the bottom every morning for breakfast as well. I mix some loose granola in it and love it.
Activia is probably the most common.
As a side note, hydrogen peroxide always helped me with cold sores. Rinse with a dilute solution (its gonna foam up and tastes nasty) or you can apply it full strength directly to the sore.
