My wife got her first deer on opening morning and it just happen to be this nice 8pt Buck. My Son, Nephew, and I got blanked, but we didn't mind. If only one of us shot a deer we all wanted her to do it, since we have all gotten deer in the past. She was so excited she didn't even mind when the boys blooded her. She forgot all about it even through lunch. 8pt. 160lbs on the hoof, shoot at Jet Okla. at about 40 yards. She used a Howa 1500 in a 243 w/80gr. Power Points. No she has the bug asking when are we going Elk hunting. I can't tell you how proud I am of her or how lucky I am she supports my hunting and gun buying.
