Only day I have off is Christmas day.. This weekend I'll put a thermostat in the truck and new tail lights on the trailer.. But if the weather isn't bad I'll also put down about 500 rds.. Then on Christmas day I'll shoot again.. Just not a Lott so there won't be any need for shoulder rest..
The time off is the only thing I miss from my collegiate teaching days... Would have been a perfect job if it weren't for all the students. My hat off to anyone that can handle it. Getting the same 75 questions over and over and over and over with each new class nearly drove me insane.

That's the problem with retirement, you never get a day off, every day is still retirement. No holidays off, no weekends off, no sick days off, ever you still have show up "retired." Retirement is not for the week or timid. We have a scheduled book to keep track of things. I often wonder when I ever had time for a J-O-B.
