There's a s&w 629 about midway down the list, that looks like my gun. A few years ago I was at the range with a buddy, he kept wanting me to shoot some of his reloads. And against my better judgment I did, and that was the result. After pulling one of the bullets later, I measured 19.2 grains of powder he said he had loaded it with 9.0 grains of "CLAYS". Gun came apart just as their designed, top strap and top of cylinder went straight up and hit the roof of the shed cover and bounced down off my head (but no damage to me). I sent the gun to s&w with a true explanation of what happened, they let me buy another at their cost, which I thought was very good of them. A few years later I saw that pic floating around on e-mails, I always wondered if somebody at s&w took a pic and it eventually leaked out on the web, and it always had a similar explanation for the incident attached.
