I was determined to get .22 this morning so I showed up at 6:15. I walked around the corner and noticed I was already the 9th in line!!!

Has anybody figured out who is behind the "shortage"?
Really, something is happening that prevents ammo from reaching us.
A good example would be 9mm, 5.56mm, 7.62x39, 7.62x51 etc. These cartridges are loaded in the billions
all over the world in factories capable of supplying armies at war.
I find it hard to believe that the US civilian market dried up the world ammunition market.
Somebody is doing it to us. I used to go to the gun show and buy thousands of rounds of Chinese, S African, European ammo.

I personally doubt there is an actual shortage. Companies know exactly how to get a product to sell quick and for a huge mark up. If something isn't selling as much as another item, make it disappear for a while.

With talks of possible ww3, i could see a shortage of 5.56mm and 7.62x39 coming.

The shortage of .22 make no sense!
