I got a free sample of 100 projectiles of the Barnes 165 grain TTSX to field test. Whacked a couple of does at 400 yds plus. Dropped em like a hammer hit on the forehead.

Nice deer everybody. I seen 4 or 5 does sat am but none ever got close enough to me for a shot.

He used a Savage Model 11 in .243 and hit the buck in the neck right in front of shoulders. Dropped like a sack of potatoes.

I got this buck opening morning at 7:30, cruising down a draw looking for does, to be honest with you i really dont even know how many total points he has. I seen he was a mature deer and gave him a dirt nap.. 300 wsm 150 grain hornady sst hand loads.. high shoulder shot dropped him where he stood.
