These are probably .22 caliber rimless “non lethal” rubber bullets if I had to guess. That would explain the high cost and why they’re used to shoot into a crowd.Fun little bit of info: The Israeli Defense Force has in the past (and still does) uses marksmen with Ruger 10/22's for "less than lethal" crowd control.

Well using that math, they shot 7 MILLION 22 rounds in 16 months. That's 14,583 per day. Jeez.
I been recently thinking 17HMR
Actually a couple weeks ago I was in owasso Walmart and the only ammo they had was 28 guage lol I had to look twice I guess what I was thinking more on was more of a survival situation as diggler pointed out it wouldn’t be a good choice if you had to fight to survive but if it was the only thing you had it’s better than nothing I supposeI'm thinking need to get 17HMR and 28 gauge shotgun due to easier access to ammo, lol.
The IDF refers to the .22lr as a “less lethal” option as compared to 556/223. Not non lethal. They have used 22 caliber (.223) rubber bullets in the past too. There’s plenty of documentation of them using 10/22s against people. These are probably .22 caliber rimless “non lethal” rubber bullets if I had to guess. Good read, the .22lr has likely dis batched a greater variety of critters than any other caliber.. Plus it's fun and cheap..The IDF refers to the .22lr as a “less lethal” option as compared to 556/223. Not non lethal. They have used 22 caliber (.223) rubber bullets in the past too. I’m not really an AR guy, but I’ve put together a couple 17 hmr AR’s using Alexander Arms uppers. They’re my most carried and used rifles. I generally keep one in my truck and the other in my house.I been recently thinking 17HMR
