It’s also where we got a bunch of our Cub Scout and Boy Scout stuff
One thing I really miss is if you went in a store and found something you wanted but didnt have the cash to get it they would open a in store credit for you and you took the item home and paid later.
Otasco. We had one of those hardware stores in a nearby town that I got to go to with my grandpa once a week. I could buy a box of 50 .22lr shells for a quarter. Loved that trip and the afternoon with him after.
Otascos we’re awesome. My brother and I could buy the CVA kits and ride home on our bikes. I think the derringer kit was 19.95. We’d collect bottles, mow yards and wash windows at a nearby strip mall for the money. Kids today have no clue…
