Buds gun shop

Anyone notice the new "make offer" on their items? Got an email from them that sounded like they were getting desperate for gun sales also.

Buds is usually my go to site for price comparison but they have been getting beat by other on line sales sites. When I purchased a M&P, Grab a Gun had it for $515 shipped. I tried the "Make an Offer" but Buds wasn't accepting anything close to that.

Sooner State Pawn has replaced Buds for me. Since my first dealing with Tommy, I don't think I've even hit Buds for window shopping.

I've priced at Bud's, but never bought from them. I have heard bad things about them in the past, and something about their whole site make-up scares me away.

There was a time when Bud's prices were hard to beat and their selection was excellent. I've made multiple purchases there and have had 0 issues.

Still, for the same price or less, same-day service, and local business/OSA member support, SSP is tits.

I purchased my M1A from Bud's in 2008 - best deal at the time. Was going through KY (the state, not the lube) a couple years later, and made it a point to stop and check them out. Pretty unimpressive shop, their inventory must be warehoused. Nice guys to visit with, though.

Bought my M&P 9c from them a couple of years ago with no problems. Now that I'm looking for 1911 mags, we'll see how this "Make Offer" works out.
