First year in forever that we have had flea issues. Always used Frontline up to this point. Didn't work at all this year, Vet even indicated that it isn't effective in his opinion.
We had to give Flea baths every 3 days until we got the adults knocked out, then went with collars, and Advantix, finally got rid of them.

The grey flea collars work very well.
despite denial from makers ... Frontline is no longer working, at least for me and it seems a lot of other folks .. lawsuit dates back to 2011

What if the anti-flea medication you purchased and administered to your pet wasn’t effective?
Considering the expense associated with these types of medications, you’d probably be pretty upset about it, especially if the medication were advertised to be 100% effective in killing fleas on your pet.
Kevin Simms of Santa Monica, California had such an experience, and he is upset enough to sue over it.
