Oklahoma Speed Limits

The Bill has been signed to increase the Speed Limit on Turnpikes and other roads but have not seen any new signs reflecting the changes.

Usually, unless there is an Emergency Clause attached to the Bill, it takes several months to go in effect.

Look again around November

It would be nice if they increase the speed limit on the Creek Turnpike, I could get to Academy to shop for guns a minute or two quicker.

Even after they do post the new higher speed limit signs it wont be fast enough for some people, you will still see people going faster than the posted speed limit lol

Yeah, I drive to OKC on a regular basis and see many people already driving 85-90 mph. I do occasionally see the 90 + folks pulled over by the OHP.

I know exactly why you stopped me. Don't insult me by asking me to admit guilt to you, just write the ticket and we'll both move on.

I'll admit, I pretty much run 5-7 over on the big roads just cuz I seem to get away with it. However, my ceiling is probably 80 in my current vehicles.

I've found that the older I get, I'm not in near as much of a hurry...… Anymore, I'm right at the limit. In my younger years, there weren't many that would get to pass me.
