No problem I am all for some side by side testing. I have looked at other chinese imported lights before and to be honest other than fenix not many have appealed to me. I am not knocking fenix at all because that has been my edc for over a year now but when I did a side by side with my fenix I was very impressed.

ALso I wish I knew how to take night time photos. I am trying to take a picture of the beam at 100 yards but cant get anything to show up. anyone have any tips for a point and shoot at night trying to capture a light beam at a 100yrds?

I'm in for at least one maybe two. I'll beat the snot out of it and let you know. Always like a great flashlight.

As for how to take pics: My suggestion is to get a video cam and at night go to a place (where you won't get arrested) where you have a buildig at, say 20 yards, 50 yards, 75 yards and out however far you want and then show how well the light illuminates said buildings at said distances.

I say this because I have a Streamlight Pro Tac light and was absolutely amazed at how far the light would illuminate trees and houses on my block that were 7-12 houses away. The stream light is only 160 lumens or so and I was as imressed as hell. yours at 250 lumens will be awesome if it is as good as you say.

Okay the count is 16 lights spoken for so far maybe 17 if parks 788 wants 2. I am still waiting for a mod to chime in. whether or not this will be okay. But from what everyone is saying I think it looks like this will be okay.

THanks for the interest. The lights info I have is from a data sheet That I am not allowed to share all of the information it contains. I will check it when I get to work tomorrow to see if it lists the exact specs of the Cree. if it doesn't contain that information I will email the manufacturer directly.
