People were pissing me off on the drive to work here in Austin this morning so I just wanted to rant. Please add some of your own and it doesn't have to be about cars.

You Know You're a ********* if...

...you have HID headlights.

...you have HID headlights on your 1985 Buick.

...you always drive with your foglamps on no matter the weather.

...you have HID (blue) headlights and you still drive around with your old yellowish foglamps on too.

I may add more as I think of 'em.

Or if you don't get the fact that most vehicles produced in the last 4 years come from the factory with HID headlights(lots are blue) and typically use the fog lamps as a part of the day light running light system.

I get lots of guys in their old trucks and cars that flash me with their high beams when I am in either the new Camaro or my Tundra. Neither projects light as high as half of what they are driving. They just can't except the fact that there is something out there brighter than their candle burners.

I do however enjoy showing them what my high beams DO look like:)

I get what your saying though:) Some of these douchbags can't seem to make the proper adjustment on older cars for newer headlights.

I dislike the "HID-lookalike" (read blue) lights, but true HID lights actually are easier on oncoming drivers when installed properly or from the factory. I just don't get some people's dislike of the HID lights.

Also, I drive with my fogs on all the time, because my car doesn't have daytime running lights, and the fogs aren't blinding anyone.

Seriously, if headlights were the only thing that ticked you off driving there, I'm moving for the awesome drivers there.

What ticks me off just about the most, is people that can't pick a speed to drive on their own.

IE, I'm driving 70, some guy I catch up to speeds up to 70 to stay right in front of me... until we come up to someone going 65, and the dude going 70 now slows to 65.1 mph and crawls by the other car for 2 miles, then speeds back up to 70 again. !#$@^%!

Or the people that just randomly speed up and slow down, no apparent purpose. Arg!

Left lane is for passing!!!!!!!!! On ramps dont have stop signs. When you exit off of 169 onto 71st you have your own lane and dont have to stop to merge.

OK, I stand by my statement. They blind me...period. It's not something you can argue about...if something bothers someone else.

And no this is not what ticked me off at first, idiot drivers who can't stay in their own lane when pulling onto a major road and come all the way into the left lane and make me slam on my brakes so I don't run over their speedbump of a Yaris they are driving, is what initially put me in a foul mood.

We're getting off topic...You don't have to agree with me, just put down your own.
