I'm sorry about your news bro. I am going currently going through this as well. I got diagnosed back in September and I am scheduled to start radiation next month. Multiple MRIs, procedures, a PET scan, blood work. I certainly now wish I hadn't kept up with testosterone therapy but hindsight..blah blah blah. Keep your chin up man, you'll get through this and come out fine.

FWIW- what others have said, surgeons get paid to surgeon. I don't know exactly what your circumstances are but in my case my cancer is only on the prostate and I am a perfect candidate for radiation
