Police doing their job today.

I was traveling west on 51 down around Harvard and Lewis around 11 this morning. Literally there were four motorcycle cops (Tulsa PD) and one OSP car simultaneously issuing citations to as many drivers, and they were only about 100 yards apart.

I've never seen anything like it.

Is Tulsa broke?

the state is short of funds too. I gave them nearly $500 between nov and december. Hwy 20 speed trap

Watch out in all the construction area;s and school zones. They are working those real hard! I drive around alot during the day and those guys on motorcycles are everywhere. I try to watch out and go the speed limit in those places cause you can never tell when there is one lurking in the shadows!!

on the radio they said something about national construction safety zone week and would be working them hot and heavy.

Day of the gun show they were all over the BA expressway. Had cars pulled over each way. 4 west bound and 4 east bound and I saw 3 more motorcycle cops ready to go and one on a bridge doing the radar.

I get a ticket every other year - if I would drive the speed limit I wouldn't get a ticket...

Yes. With all the crap going on in this city, how you can free up 6 to 8 cops just to write BS speeding tickets is far beyond me.
Just my .02, and I would hate to offend the sheeple, so I'll let it go at that.

I'm just going to point out a couple of things and then you guys can carry on.

1. If people did not commit moving violations (or fail to pay taxes due the state) they would not get pulled over.

2. I'm pretty sure if the officers had their way they'd rather be drinking coffee at the local roadside cafe, shooting the breeze. Man, wouldn't that just chap your butt ... all those JBTs getting paid for doing NUFFIN'.
