I'm new in the world of rifles. Been thinking about an ACOG. What model should I get? Been looking to put it on my Hi-Point Carbine. Has anyone mounted one on the carbine?

Yes. Yes I think you should put a $1000 optic on a $150 rifle. Don't forget a PVS 14 as well.

I did not know they made nc star replica's. It really depends on if it is a 9mm, 40, or 45. I would go with the TA55. Hi points have a lifetime warranty so you will need a good scope that will last.

I'm going to drill and tape the slide for a rail and add a magwell to my .45.
