It means you do whatever it takes to keep the government happy, even if it means looking the other way while they trample the constitution, so they will leave you alone.
Some of us believe are rights are absolute, God given and can't be taken away. Some of us believe it isn't ok to say, "geez, is it really that bad fellas. I mean c'mon, you have plenty of stuff. Sure, they are slowly eroding the constitution, but are you that bad off." At some point, you take a stand for your kids' future.

So, what do you really propose to do about it?

The problem with this country is too many good people stand by and ***** about it without actually doing anything. Slowly but surely our way of life will be trampled upon. Maybe not now, maybe not in 10 years, but it will happen more so in my lifetime then the lifetime before it I believe. I feel like we're slowly taking a step back towards inequality in the 1960s, but it's not about race anymore. It's between the government and the people.

Honestly JB, the sad thing is I alone don't feel like I could do anything. And I think that's how a lot of people feel. Most people can't protest at the capital or send letters to their representative all the time. The government is too large to do anything about it. I mean let's look at the Kony movement for a second as an example. It's been going on for years and they finally got enough attention to send like 100 troops over there? And that's waay more effort than I'm willing or can afford to spend right now. Look at when this country was first founded, how many decades was it before english settlers were finally fed up enough to come over to America? Then how many years did it take after they were here for the Revolution? What I'm getting at, is people can put up with a lot of BS by the government before the snap.
