I think i'm just gonna start posting "LIAR" in their feedback.

I will say this, unless both parties agree to go a different way, that's one thing. Otherwise it is a WELCH to back out of a deal.

That is, unless buyer said he wanted to look at the item for sale. I have a hard time believing one would drive to OKC from Tulsa just to look at something.

This. I gotta tell you I would be pissed off to no end.

There is a member here from Tulsa (you know who you are you idiot) who contacted me through FB asking if GC would like to do a trade with him. I said "I dunno" and told GC to get in touch with him. GC did, they chitty-chatted, the deal with agreed on and then this member reneged and sold the gun to someone else.

GC actually took it better than I did. That lying SOB piece of trash had better not EVER even look my way ever again. Who does that kind of ****?!!? HE CONTACTED ME?!?!?!? And then HE backed out!

I would post feedback for the moron but GC has forbade me from doing so ... and I'm a good wife (You are one lucky piece of crap, you piece of crap ...)

Ahhhh ... my aura has been all F'd up now this morning ... I'm gonna go get some coffee ...

Tell GlockCop one of you gets bant if you don't leave the feedback!

J/K...

Not to imply you're fabricating the situation, so please don't take offense to this, but the logical person in me knows that there's two sides to every story.

Saying that, if it happened just as you said it, then you're right, it's their property to do with as they please. It's also your right to leave negative feedback for what was an agreed on done deal. Doing so can save future buyers/traders/sellers the potential headache of dealing with this user.

Given the highlighted section....

In my mind, that was a done deal. I think if you get a couple of these you should not be able to use the classifieds

Definitely leave negative feedback

Then I agree with bulbboy.

That's what the feedback section is for.

I agree with all above. A deal is a deal. Have I regretted some deals? Yes, just about every gun I have sold on here I have regretted getting rid of or was offered asking price after agreeing on a price with another, but the deal was still made with the first person. If I agree to a price, even if it's contingent on inspection, I will not worm out because something better comes along. My word is my bond and I judge all men/women by that same thing. Break a deal once and you are dead to me.

Negative feedback coming there way if it happens to me.

To me, a gun transaction is always "pending inspection".

ie, if I agree to buy a gun, where the seller has described it as in excellent condition, and posts this picture:

and when I show up, it looks like this:

You can bet I'm not buying it, and I'm not gonna refrain from posting feedback either.

I've also never had that happen.

If the situation is as described... Leave the negative feedback & explain why. He is entitled to do whatever he wants with his belongings, but he also has to accept that backing out of a verbal agreement is bad form & not appreciated by anyone.

Once the deal is struck, it's a contract. You promised to pay, he promised to deliver, and the terms were fixed. It's no longer his to dispose of as he pleases--he's given you an interest in it in exchange for an interest in your money.

Yeah, I'd leave feedback. Dude's a punk.
