You were gone before my time, but you really were an honest voice of what Oklahoma was founded on. Virtuous, compassionate, humble hardworking folk.

Got to see Woody live and in person at the Worlds Fair in San Antonio Tx when I was 14 yrs old.
He was setting in a simple chair on grass, playing an accoustic guitar with rings of folks around him on stands.
Totally awesome, and I'll never forget it.

Well, his son Arlo put on a good show Wed night at Okemah. Believe it or not, Arlo is a Republican and supported Ron Paul.
