Huh? I fail to see the correlation? I find it interesting that your default argument on this subject involves a comparision to pedophelia... It reminds me of those who go straight for the "Hitler" comparison in any debate.

Perhaps the poster was not as genteel as you would like him to be but his point was that your approach, in his opinion, does not address the criminal but rather attacks potential victims. He wasn't calling you a pedophile and his approach certainly does not equate to using "Hitler" analogies.

223 (5.56) is a varmint round ... even if you can shoot it at anything (successfully at that).
7mm Mauser is medium game cartridge ... even though it killed more dangerous game than any other cartridge.

I can't distance myself enough from this. Guys...seriously I'm you're average "non gun nut" coworker. I'm not advocating anything like that. I'm just saying I'm not opposed to an AWB. If hers contains language that would take guns then I'm opposed to that version of an AWB.
I am for UBCs because we SHOULD enforce existing laws. I do hear what you are saying about magazine size and the ability to defend yourself but aren't the giant drum mags just excessive and a little too easy for someone to go on a shooting spree with?

Considering NONE of the mass shootings I've seen used a drum magazine.... And they are for funzies. How can you enforce gun laws and not take gun rights away from lawful citizens?

Negative. Because of the chamber differences, 5.56 ammo can be loaded to pressures which exceed saami limits for .223.

Can you define in layman's terms what an Assault Weapon is ... to make it simple - what makes a weapon Non-Assault?
