we have been going to russells for over 10 years now. just cant beat the price and we spend enough to usually get 2 or 3 free cases of artillery shells. this year we got 2 free cases of artillery shells, which is 72 shells per case, and then 5 more free boxes of artillery shells, for some other reason, lol. we have gone there long enough and spend quite a bit, so they send us a letter in the mail every year for a free 500gram cake, so we got that to. then before leaving russell gave us 2 more 500 gram cakes. we also got several packs of free regular firecrackers.

this is what we got this year. went with more small/medium size things this time for my 2 boys to light and not as many 500 gram cakes.

Dang!

Would you tell me about how much those 2 different amounts cost you?

I ask because I spent right at 200 this year and could carry it all in my arms one trip:( I got one of the black cat 500 gram shot deals it was 75 and another 500 generic brand was 45 dollars on sale, and then a bag of random crap my kids like- smoke balls, tanks etc totaling 200 bucks.

Someone did recommend russells to me last yr but I got lazy.

Anyone who hasn't been to Marlow for the Fourth needs to go. Don't know how many concerts they will have this year, but taking a picnic basket, sitting on the hill all day, having a great "Americana" kind of day and then capping it all off with a great fireworks display. Damn. It just doesn't get much better than that.

Thanks, a lot of work and planning goes into show, picked up part of show today and get the rest of them tomorrow. It will take us around 3 hours to setup and wire show. Have been shooting for 20+ years and every time is as nerve racking as the first hoping it goes as planned and no failures. One of these days we are going to put it to music, just need a little more equipment. If anyone makes it to park, we are selling chances for a S&W Series E 45, a Turkey Tactical 12 gauge and a set of Goodyear tires. You may go home very Happy Happy Happy!

the first pic is what we got this year and was $830. the 2nd pic from last year i think was just under $900. they have a lot of different 500 gram cakes from $20 to $70. he has his own artillery shells made, russells evil balls, and i think they are a little more powerful and better than the ones u get around here. he only sells them for $4 a box, which is about half the cost than a regular stand. i think u get a free box if u drive from out of town and a free box for every $40 u spend, or a free case, 12 boxes, for every $300. actually for ever $300 u get the option of a free case or a free 500 gram cake.

the excalibur is one thing he sells about the same as some other stands, i think it was $50 or $55. if u have kids, the small stuff is way cheaper than other places. for things like tanks and smoke balls at other stands u may get like 2 or 3 tanks for the price of a whole box of them at russells.

he has a website russellsfireworks.com and facebook. i think he has a flyer on the website with some prices of different things and coupons for some free stuff.
