Don't be a smartass. I gave links to the ATF info. If that isn't good enough for you then you can bury your head in the sand with the guy that posted his illegal sbr in the classifieds.
I personally don't want people that care about the 2A to get hammered because of uneducation.

LOL, it wasn't directed at you, just in general........I'm amazed at the things that people don't check out for themselves......I saw that you posted the links....I just don't come here first to look for rules and regulations, I go to the source website first. If I have ATF questions, I go to the ATF, not OSA.

Edit: And I did see the guys SBR ad.

Surely he will just fix the problem (pin& weld the muzzle device, etc...) then repost his ad. I hope y'all didn't hurt his feelers. It sure took plenty of people to get the point across. If it did?

Another problem I usually see in classifieds is a pistol with a foward grip (making an AOW). The rules are stupid but they are still the law, for now.

I always win the worst awards. :(

At least you win something.

I agree with you that there should probably be a sticky somewhere that explains some of the standard "you cannot possess without tax stamp" stuff. It is highly likely that the gentlemen with the ad had no idea. He had been a member for 3 years with less than 30 posts. If only people would educate themselves.
