Rudy's BBQ in Norman ?

Anyone ever had BBQ at Rudy's in Norman at hwy 9 and Chautauqua ?

The wife and I have liked Van's in Norman for several years but are thinking about giving Rudy's a try if it's any good.......we're not fans of a overly HEAVY smoke flavor.

I'm a Vans guy if I am able to get there. The Rudys in Denton is good, I get brisket point.

Me and some friends ate there before the last home OU game a few weeks ago and i thought it was Ok. I had the brisket sandwich and thought it good. Not great but good.

It's decent, although the ribs suck. I like to get the baker with lean brisket, good lunch. Did I mention the ribs suck

Sims, or Rudys over Vans any day for a Norman offering, the only thing I miss about Vans is the twice baked potatoes. Would take Smokey Rays BBQ trailer offering over all of them if they were in Norman.
