Obama picking and choosing which laws should be enforced trumps (pardon the pun) all y'all's examples because it is real not hypothetical.

When the chief law enforcement officer of the nation, an elected official, openly flaunts laws is it surprising that other officials follow in his footsteps?

Hmmm, I seem to remember people on this forum highly critical of Obama's executive actions.
And yet, NOW, some of these same espouse the exact same pick and choose defiance.

I agree that she should probably bow out gracefully through a resignation and I am a Christian.

What I am shocked about is the outright indignation towards those of faith In this thread. Maybe I shouldn't be, but I thought Okies would be better than some of this crap that has been said. Some of you should be disappointed in your writings, but you won't have the faith, conviction or the proper upbringing to even realize it.

I am thankful though. This thread has really opened my eyes which were apparently somewhat closed before.

Defiance of the law is the new thing with which we must contend and it began with the law-defying acts of Obama. I should not relish it. It is sad and is a sign of a break down that bodes poorly for the future.

I'm pretty sure there was an illegal domestic spying program that began under W and was ruled unconstitutional in the judicial system.

Actually this kind of protest has been going on as long as there has been a country and it usually results in a minor change to the law. It is only because she is doing it to uphold her religious beliefs that some have their knickers in a wad.

But a secret, hidden domestic spying program in no way sets an example that is anywhere nearly as influential as the open, blatant defiance of the law modelled by the current president.

as an elected official,her electors need to start impeachment against her and if and i say IF she is impeached then replace her through the election of another. and then if the people elect another just like her. well i guess the people will have spoken. the judge in this matter needs to answer to his voters also.
