Get you a kill suit from predator hunters.com and tuck in some bushes or a blow down. I hunt only from the ground and never fool with a blind. I have the ability to set up quickly and move within seconds to another spot if I want too. Great way to hunt...

No rifle in the ghillie, I generally rifle hunt from a double ladder with my son. You can bet if I was on the ground with a ghillie in rifle I would have my orange on. I was referring to bowhunting. my bad...

I drove about 70 miles worth of i40 and saw deer EVERYWHERE. Even saw some in groups of dozens in some places

Yes the string lines on the outside of the hubs is a critical element to keeping the blind open.

Those cheap pop ups won't take wind even with guy ropes. I've got a half dozen in the barn with the loops torn out of them, and broken poles from tumbling across the place.

I have always had success piling small cedars up around me. If available. Then cutting out the spot I want to shoot through.
