Why the desire for obscure conspiracy theories versus obvious explanations? There were never any marches like this before a certain, specific person became president and that person has specifically been very antagonistic towards women in ways that offend them. You can disagree with that but it's pretty obvious where their motivation and anger comes from.
blaming socialists is more fun, tho' ;)

Lol. Soros is hardly a socialist, but I get why people think that. That term has been such a catchall these days that it hardly retains any of its original meaning anymore.

There are many members of OSA who think socialism, communism and fascism are one and the same. And every aspect is evil! Not even aware there are many examples of socialism in the US they support.

Not disagreeing with you but just viewing it from another angle, the words "fascist" and "racist" also fall into that category.
I thought it odd that every time somebody criticized trump, it was always "racist, misogynist, xenophobic, islamophobic, homophobic bigot". With the exception of some of the "phobic" terms interchanged (depending on what offended people the most) those words were always IN THAT ORDER. I don't know if there's an actual term for such uniform use of words or if it's learned or one guy just saw that on FB and started to copy and paste it then millions of others did or what... Since I didn't know what to call it, I named it the "echoes from the echo chamber" phenomenon.

One other thing that cracks me up that I've noticed recently is how much Trumpian language and speeches, especially the darker ones, sound like modern updates of Marxism. The working class struggle to overcome an elite that wants to strangle and extort them and steal their wealth in a zero sum competition is EXACTLY the world described by Karl Marx.

Wouldn't argue there at all. It's not something unique to just one side.

In the save vein as the "Triple Dog Dare" in Christmas Story, the Left usually has a slight breech of etiquette, skips all aforementioned verbiage and goes straight to Nazi.
