Sand Bass Yet?

Just hold off about 3 more weeks dang it. I've already told my bosses I'm taking a week or so off when I leave India to get caught up on my fishing. They really don't get it being German but then again, I don't get all their time off either so it's all good.

It will be just the males moving back into the creek next week if I'm not wrong. Mother nature will determine when the big females move up.
When the water temperature reaches the high 50's, the run begins with the males moving up the tributaries first. They are followed in 1-2 weeks by the females, so you might hit it depending on your location. In the Southern part of the state, it should be pretty quick. In our neck of the woods, we have some time yet.

Not for me. It will be fishing and hopefully mushrooming season.

I've never turkey hunted. WHile growing up in southern OK, there weren't really any around. Wildlife management has come a long way in the 40 years since I started hunting.

Sandbass biting good this evening 2 guys left with limits 3 kids had 30 and I caught 9 in about 1 hour most where small
