So McVeigh was caught in a traffic stop with the "illegal" gun. I want to know what probable cause existed to tie him to the bombing. It had to be more than the simple possession of the loaded gun. Has anyone ever heard of what tied McVeigh to the bombing so soon after the bombing? Regardless, that mere possession of the loaded gun was not the "tie to the bombing". It had to be something else.

they had his setting in a jail cell when the troopers got the news and something led them to realize they had him right there. Maybe the news already had his picture and posted it up?

Funny. There is absolutely nothing in the article, which is the trooper's account of what happened, about OSBI having any part in McVeigh's original stop, arrest, subsequent time in county, or transfer to the feds. Hmmmm ...
I believe it was because he didn’t make it at being an army ranger. He wanted to be one really bad and didn’t make it. So he was pissed at the government. I think he didn’t care much for them to begin with but that really got him headed down a very dark path.
