Really? Was my statement/question wrong? As far as the issue, I'm not sure what OK incarceration rate has to do with whether the med pot works or not.
Basic housing with supervision (basic cost of operating a prison), food and the biggy, health care. Thats what we spend money on prisoners. Which one of those would you like to deny? Not only are our prisons overcrowded, they are getting old and more needing of health care.
And your paying for it.
Maybe shrink funds to all of em a lil. Prison should be extremely uncomfortable in my opinion.

OK prisons have taken a 40% cut. Correction officers make less than the cashier at 7-11 (fact) thus they are understaffed to something like 1 guard per80 inmates. Where else would you like to shrink funds?
Maybe we should stop incarcerating those that have harmed no one. Its akin to a felony charge for not wearing a seat belt. Would that be okay with you?
