I was thinking he may take it on consignment. Seems to fit right in with his line except for brand.

The brand would be the problem. There is another Ferris dealer in Davis.

I’ve dealt with Power Pro several times over the years. I think talking with them would be a good idea.

I’d rather discount the commission and more to move it quicker. Or “demo” it on my lawn this summer!! LoL!

I didn’t realize they made a higher end one than the 3200.

You are right, for some reason I thought there was one more step, there are many options on that model and pricing too. The problem with selling a like new mower that's 4 or more years old is trying to find someone with the cash, most people probably finance and want a new one with a warranty unless it's a great deal.

That's one big mower

You got that right.

Quick search throws one on ebay with 150 hours for 10K... I would personally contact some up and coming lawncare places and offer them a shot at it before going consignment. Seems like the only place that wins when you go consignment is the place selling whatever you have. I am sure there are a few around that would not mind a nice big ZTR for a bit of a discount and offer to pay cash for it. Otherwise ebay with local pickup only is another option. Some big stuff gets sold that way and a lot of times ebay gets cut out of it anyway.

Went down to Foley Alabama a few years ago and picked up a concrete pump and hoses for a guy. Big air cooled Deutz Diesel sitting on twin torsion axles. A ten ton bottle jack could barely even touch this thing it was so heavy. I think it was 6K cash that I handed the guy. Just had to get the lights and brakes working on it as the wiring had been tore up and shot fresh grease in the bearings every time I stopped for fuel. Lights was as simple as grabbing a 50 foot drop cord and zip tie it on the trailer. Did the same for the brakes as well and ran it all to a 7 blade plug.

Now you have me wondering how many hours are on it that is laughable. :)

Most commercial units of this caliber should have this many hours in the first week of use.

The customer vs use in this so far has been $783 per hour.
