The vast amopunt of people in my world (reality) are good people trying to make a mark on life. Not all but I dont damn the world based on your slim outlook. Those that arent as privilages as you, growing up in poverty or uneducated because they had to drop out to work, are many of those you talk about and they are no different than us in that they want to most for their family. Had I not been able to get an education or learn a trade (both of which I did) I shutter to think how my life would be different. But I wouldnt be asking for handouts.
I grew up 2 houses from the tracks in a family of 6 in a 2 bedroom 1 bath shack. Joined USMC and then went to work at USPS where I advanced thru the ranks and now have a nice retirement. I volunteered for quite a while with ARC until I got tired of seeing deadbeat losers getting money for events that were caused by themselves in many cases. There are people in need that try their best and there are a lot of losers that use the system instead of working for a living. Park outside a pot shop, casino, or liquor store and you see more of the latter. The truth is a bitter pill to swallow.
