Right... so you apparently don't get rhetorical comments like I said.

Kind of ironic you keep hinting on my intelligence, and turn around and ask a question, and have quoted a few times, my answer to the question you ask. I'll say it again for you, the significant increase in testing and the complete disregard for previously practiced protocols in "protests" has been a significant factor in the increase in positive cases.
Are you saying the sun belt states have increased testing more than states in the North?
What data do you have to support that?
How can we explain the increased hospitalization rates in the sun belt states?

See how easy that is.

Just FYI, had the Covid-19 anti-body test today because of another test on Monday. You know how the ancient Egyptians would remove the brain for making a mummy. Felt similar to that. Stick a long swap way up your nose and swirl it around. They could have drawn a pint of blood with less pain.

The anti-body test is a blood test to determine if you have been infected in the past. What you had was testing to see if you are currently infected. And, yes, I thought that swab was gonna' come out the back of my skull. Seemed like he was drilling a well!
BTW - last I knew, OBI was still providing free anti-body testing with each blood donation.

-Testing more? I'm not sure about more relative to one state or another, but they are increasing exponentially here in the south. I believe North Carolina saw a 50% increase in total tests administered in the last two week. Not sure if NY has increased that much. I know Oklahoma's testing has increased exponentially as well, IIRC, Stitt said 50% increase week over week.
-I've posted as much data as you have.
-How do we explain the increased Hospitalization rates? New infections due to people disregarding protocols, like I said. Of course someone else pointed out the phases expiring too, and I agree with that as well. However, all one has to do is go to the Tulsa World and look at the pics of the protests, especially the one on 244 to see what I'm talking about.

Easy indeed.

An epidemiologist on one of the weekly news shows this morning said it's evidence to her that the southern and western states opened up too early, before they had reached their phase 1 requirements.

Here, but occasionally There.
Not confused. Still on point.....

Yes, the second was a rhetorical comment towards your first statement which I literally just spelled out for you.

I get it though, call me jackass, call me stupid, act like I don't contribute...... whatever else you want to come up with. Boomers get emotional and wet their diapers, I get it. Doesn't change anything with respect to your "going inside" comment and infection rates.

So, if us "boomers" get emotional, what is it that your generation does? Or, are you just stooping to calling people names?

As for the topic of "indoors being worst than outdoors," I think it was determined some time back that the Covid-19 rates in New York City were going up at a higher percentage with those that were staying home.

Won't ever know will we? Add in the protests and seemingly a complete disregard for protocols they had been preaching to us for the last few months and it's a huge variable she can't account for.

I think we're still inside the 14 days before symptoms appear.
Minneapolis and NYC had the largest marches.that I saw.
I'll be paying attention to their stats.

We watch the Boomers and Millennials go at it typically.

To your last point it was a hospitalization rate that was going up with those that REPORTED that they had been sheltering in place. Funny thing is, you saw several other cities, like every one of significance in Oklahoma that saw a reduction in rates. In fact when that story had reported, Oklahoma had passed it's peak of hospitalizations and went down week over week until recently.
