Yeah, it’s slow, but it’s not very time consuming. Soak it, and then blow it off with the pressure washer. Then soak it in the soapy water and you’re all good. There’s not much hands on time. It would be faster if I’d turn the temperature up. It’ll go faster now that I’ve got the tank heaters in there.

I threw a head into a pond on a wire infested with crawdads one winter and forgot about it until early summer. (Warm water pond at our power plant)
It came out covered in moss and quite ugly but all the skin and everything else was gone.
Hosed it off but the skull remained the color of OD green. In retrospect it looked pretty good with that color, so it got hung on the wall.
Within a month, it was a dingy white. The moss/algae died and turned a light tan. Hosed it off again and it turned white.
Not peroxide white but good enough to go back on the wall.

I'm not a big fan of the European mount look but if I ever get a decent buck I could go for something like this...

Small 10pt early, the big 8pt I've seen a dozen times about an hour ago, otherwise dead this morning. Dead calm. Seen more wood ducks than deer and it's been 5 years since I've seen or heard any lol.
Nothing moving here either. I saw a “half 8pt” (missing one side) bedded with a doe. Other than that, nothing.
