Had one done while I was in the hospital with pneumonia. They used a contrast with it. Felt like I peed and crapped myself at the same time.

Yes….. the radioactive Iodine made me feel like I was gonna puke. Sucked.

I had a CT scan done on my head early a.m. one week ago today.........the iodine made me feel kinda 'strange'<-----(hard to explain) and sick to my stomach all day.

I've had two full tube MRI's and they had to pull me out of both and reschedule with me being IV sedated........never knew it all my life till I tried the first MRI but apparently I'm claustrophobic.

Had an mri done in 2015, wasn’t too bad. Had a cat scan about a year ago, I don’t remember it at all…

I had 5 MRIs and one CT scan in 2021. 2 lower spine, 1 mid spine, 1 right knee and 1 head (with contrast). The contrast (that was the brain MRI) felt like I had a built-in internal air conditioner when the flow started. Didn't make me feel ill or anything else.

I usually need to be sedated because with the back pain and lying on the God-awful hard MRI beds, and the tiny machines, I get really claustrophobic. But, the VA has a new machine. It's bigger and not nearly as confining. No sedation on the last two. It's nice.
