The bible looks like a masonic bible that canditates get when they become masons. The ring is a

Yep...A King Jame version Bible with a Square and Compass on the cover. (Masonic Emblem) The Bible has extra pages in it for signatures of brothers who participated in the degrees. (The signatures you mentioned) and a place for family history.
The ring is a Master Mason, Blue Lodge Ring, they can be found for sale on ebay and/or in any pawn shop.

Very well said, do you think it is ok to just peruse through the bible and what if I come across something, may I PM you on these issues? I am very curious.
As a 32° Mason for many years I would make contact with a local lodge or the Grand Lodge in Guthrie and donate the items to them........the items would not be sold for profit and more than likely would be put on display as Masonic memorabilia to be visually enjoyed by others.
I am going to spend the next 3 days recovering from a surgery and looking thru the Bible before reaching out to its new home. Thank you all for the words of advice and didn’t mean any disrespect with my voodoo comments.
I am generally a very superstitious person as I grew up playing baseball and even years later playing ball for the Navy I think we all had our own little game within a game we brought to the Diamond. I will certainly enjoy the art work that I peaked at last night.
