Retired Ironworker out of Philadelphia, PA. The company I worked with made Architectural Stone and I worked in that field for many years and hired hundreds of Stone Masons and only found two that were Masons whose family's dated back to the 1700's. I have seen Masons cut off a four foot section of precast concrete with Hammer and Chisel so clean one would think they used a concrete saw. My family came to the Colonies in 1658 as Conscripts in the British Army in NYC. After four years of service our family was given land and in our case Virginia and PA.
