I remember the L.B. Price man going around in Ada Oklahoma in his station wagon selling goods out of it. Blankets-Tosters-Towels etc.

They were the reason that firearms were relatively cheap in the OKC area back in the day—they were both wholesalers as well as retailers.

Yep, they were. AND they were competitors that were within a few miles of each which made it even better. I was very price conscious and I would be some reloading at SW and some at OA. It was fun going back and forth between the two.

I am pretty sure that they are entirely different "businesses," but there is a HUGE Wall's Drug up in Wall, SD on I-90 and east of Rapid City. That store has a bit of everything in it.

Wall Drug - Wall, SD
That store is a destination in an of itself, takes at least a half day to go through it all
