Here, but occasionally There.
Vitamin D, Vitamin C and Zinc will speed the recovery. Need to start it as soon as tested positive or take everyday as preventive to lessen the symptoms. I realize this strain is not as bad as the first but don't take chances. I don't want it again 3 weeks in ICU another week in hospital with blood clots, then 4 and a half months on oxygen. 7 months total before I got back to work, been another 8 months and still not back to where I was before I got it.

That is probably just what has helped the wife and I when we got the COVID in both 2021 and 2022. We each take a Vitamin D3 daily, two Vitamin C's daily, and I think we get Zinc in our multi-vitamin. In both of our cases, we only had a few days of "discomfort," mostly because of some coughing.

Just "as needed".

Extreme cold or heat, high humidity, give me most problems.
I get out of breath easily, but working to stay off the bottle, unless O2 level drops below 92.

LoL, extreme. Below 40° or above 95° or 40+% humidity. I wheeze for 30 minutes, after taking a shower.

How you doing? Any lingering crap?
Yeppers. I can't sleep in anything but a propped upright position in my chair. If I move back or forward about six inches, I start coughing almost to the point where I cannot breathe and almost puke.
I can tell a slight difference in my voice like it is starting to break up a bit.

My wifey just sent me this.

There are apparently new medical codings entered for vaxxed and non vaxxed persons with the non vaxxed requiring counseling.

How new is this? I know in the spring of last year CMS created new HCPCS codes for MD’s to bill for vaccine counseling if they discuss vaccine with their patients (5-15min time), but didn’t administer the vaccine during the same office visit. There are also separate HCPCS billing codes for administering vaccines without counseling. What codes “require“ patients to have counseling? I think if the MD talks to his patient about it, he can bill for it as of last year. This was prob because docs were spending so much time counseling patients & wanted to be paid for it.
This new ”requirement” for non-vaxed patients sounds fishy. CMS has a brand new code forcing docs to counsel non-vaxed patients?

I dunno. she sent it to me as a link which was broken and I cannot verify the requirement for counseling because the search engines keep rehashing the old 2020 and 2021 stuff.

I understand, extreme cold or heat still affects me. Just got to keep working on building lung capacity and you will get better. Walk, excercise any kind of activity, several times a day. Above all push yourself, not to the extreme but a little more each week. While doing it keep oxygen handy in case you push to far. I would take a fold up chair slung over my shoulder, oxygen bottle and just start walking thru the pasture. When out of breath deploy chair, get oxygen, recover then walk back several times a day. I believe this helped more than anything getting completely off oxygen.
