I'm not sure about all that stuff but I'm sure Biden wants you too. And if it doesn't work out, you can sell your gun collection to make up your losses. "Because all you need is a shotgun." I'm w Henry. I need new windows and attic insulation first.
Call Renewal by Anderson, Tell em I referred you, I'll get $150 and we can go have a beer and I'll buy lol
Seriously, it was a good decision and my windows were not even 5 years old but cheap Home depot windows. I could feel the north wind coming in my bedroom.
Now I can even hear it storming out unless some serious thunder.
The attic insulation, I'm told, OG&E will help subsidize that cost once they come look into your situation. In some cases up to 90% (I'm told). And I have no issue taking a utility companies money, I do with tax dollars.

I already replaced my windows three years ago.

Solar isn’t priced based on the cost and value. It’s priced on what they can get people to pay and how much they can fleece taxpayers out of. Finance companies love it, because at the terms you describe you’re paying them $752 in interest for every $1,000 you borrow.

So if you’re paying $50k for the system in price, it’s costing you $87,600 overall. Don’t forget that your tax credit over that 5 years is only up to your total federal tax liability. So 30% might not wind up actually being 30% net to you. I doubt they tell you that when they’re selling you on their system.

If solar was really the bargain they claim it is, they wouldn’t have to use other people’s money to sell it.

I'm a little behind ya but right in your footsteps. That's my next home improvement project.
