Disagree, it is absolutely reason for negative feedback. Nobody needs their time wasted. You waste my time after a deal is agreed to, you're getting negative feedback

It doesn't sound like a deal was agreed to nor a meet scheduled, but they would agree to make a deal, or something. The details are pretty nebulous. It sounds like the OP wanted something dude had, and dude responded once in the affirmative, then OP posted this thread. I don't have anymore detail then that to make any kind of assumption.

I've seen some pretty lame negative feedback...the lamest of the lame was "I posted 'I'll take it' and they ghosted me" or "I sent a PM and they ghosted me", and my all-time favorite, is "I sent a PM and they said it's already sold after I said 'I'll take it'".

So without any real detail I can't take much stock in this...just too nebulous.

I think there needs to be an official rule that if a person is going backhandedly call someone out or try to garner sympathy for a supposed wrong committed on this board that the offending party’s name has to be posted, and if it isn’t, the thread should be deleted by moderators.
Heresay doesn’t hold up in court, and it shouldn’t here either.

Yes, I agree. Post at a minimum the messages (minus screenname) as receipts. Gray nonspecifics don't help anybody.
