How would you have handled this situation?

I saw this video posted on another forum. The poster was asking what people would have done if they found themselves in this situation while carrying. Obviously pulling out a weapon is the wrong answer in this scenario but it got me thinking about what the correct response would be.

What would you do?

Cannot shoot over verbal confrontation.

High probability of killing someone else

Doesn't appear to have touched the vic at all.

i like how the "cops" that showed up didn't do anything.

I didn't recall the cops ever showing up? The blue uniforms you seen were the mall security...

Not shooting this jackass has nothing to do with being candy asses... It has more to do with not wanting to go to prison and leaving my wife without a husband and my kids without a dad over a bike...

You either don't really care about the law or you have never been to a conceal carry class...

How about....Tazer to the Jewells, and Citizen arrest.
Attempted theft,verbal threat of assault.
Surely thats a crime?

I think I might have been scared for my life with 3 guys telling me I was going to get beat up, then the main perp telling me he was going to beat me up and shoot me.

It seemed like the security guards were ok with these guys hanging around and seemed like they had told them they can't do anything to them so its a free for all.

Security Guards were punks that didn't want to get involved. The guy had his bike almost stolen and threatened with getting beaten up and shot. There was more than enouph things for them to get the police involved.
