I don't agree the opinion that the gun shop didn't have enough time because of the Christmas rush. No matter what the time frame, if the shop said they could get it done, then they should have. Now if the shop owner had a heart attack or something like that ,then I could understand a delay.

To clarify a few things.
1. The auction ended a week ago today. How was I supposed to make it work out any faster.
2. I called the local FFL to discuss the transaction and the timeline BEFORE agreeing to do business with them. I specifically asked if they could get it done and the answer was ABSOLUTELY YES. I would have moved on had I not been assured they would handle it. He (Josh) specifically said he would fax it within ONE HOUR. Why did I ask this specifically? Because IT WAS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT.
3. Sooner guns and gold is the FFL.

This is NOT my fault. The seller and receiving ffl both knew the situation. The seller had no issue with shipping the gun as soon as he got the information. They both assured me it would happen. If Josh would have told me he couldn't do it for some reason, I had a back up plan.
