We’ve lost the education battle

Watching American Idol and at the last elimination, they announced that the next elimination round would be in Hawaii.
One of the contestants said he couldn’t go because he didn’t have a passport.
Then during an interview after getting to the island, he commented wide eyed that there is really a Pearl Harbor.....he just thought it was a movie.......

I remember there was a guy in our H.S. that thought you needed a passport to go to New Mexico. He also apparently thought pickles grew on trees.

If you have a Oklahoma Drivers License, you do need a passport to fly to Hawaii.
(Oklahoma Driver License is not a valid ID)

Correction
Can I use my Oklahoma driver license or ID card to board an aircraft? Yes. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will continue to accept driver's licenses and state-issued identification cards from all jurisdictions at least until October 10, 2019.
