A day of beauty at one of the spas.
I'm no help, even though I've been married to my Lady for almost 51 years. She recently bought herself a Samsung tablet and case for it. She also bought me an expensive Nikon camera. We both consider each as Christmas/Anniversary gifts to each other.
The few times I've tried to be "original" and do something spontaneous, I get the message later to "NEVER do that again."
Time is short, but I'd say follow her when she is shopping and see what piques her interest but that she doesn't want to spend the money for it. Then surprise her with it.

Mine is getting new leather coat, perfume and a watch she has been wanting. I just listen to all the little hints during the year.

This is the key. A great Christmas present is an all year marathon. Most of the great gifts aren't spur of the moment/last minute things. If you listen well and even 'between the lines' throughout the year, the gift will reveal itself. Many times, the best gifts don't even require a bunch of money......just you being in tune with your honey.

Mine always likes jewelry from James Avery. They have very cool charm bracelets. Start with that and add like 3 or 4 charms, then you forever more need only buy more charms for birthday, Christmas, anniversary etc.
Good 1st charms are those that represent kids or grandkids, hobby etc. my wife likes gardening and cooking...just go to the store and let one of the ladies pick you out a couple based on things your wife likes.
