I bought gas at $1.83 a gallon in Pharr Tx this morning. Price got higher the further north we drove.

I paid $1.86/gallon in Norman last Sunday.
April unleaded commodity prices for unleaded gasoline is 1.39. Add transportation. taxes and profit and you get the retail price.
