Someone here gave me the impression that the Chinese were being truthful in their numbers when I earlier said I was skeptical of their death toll.

I will admit initially (a month and more ago) I was HOPEFUL we would see lower mortality in a more developed society and more adequate (presumably) medical system.
I am thinking now I was wrong, the mortality seems MUCH higher to me, as China has been lying their f***ing a** off from day 1.
Personally, if this is shown to be true, I would support serious economic sanctions again China, perhaps even a worldwide effort to topple the Chinese communist regime, as it has been shown already to be a serious threat to the entire world.
F*** Xi Jinping. I personally would support some targeted missile strikes to rid the world of him and his top advisors - SHOULD this prove to be true, and it certainly looks plausible. If the Chinese government is found beyond a reasonable doubt to be responsible for this by lying and hiding the truth, they should be brought before the international community and they should pay with their lives. Period.

Yes, I've never been a big fan of the WHO, either.
And the AMA, also, while we're at it. I watched an interview with the current head of the AMA the other day and came away so disgusted by her absolute lack of any information and obvious politicizing that I renewed my lifelong vow to never be a member of the AMA.
